Foam Roller Kitchen Cabinets. They work best with latex or water-based paint because that type of paint is thinner and more easily absorbed by the sponge-like quality of the foam roller. I used both a foam roller and good paint brush.
Because my bathroom is so small, some areas were hard to reach, so I found it was easiest to start on the side of the cabinet and paint it with a foam roller before trying to tackle the front. Like with primer, let your first coat of paint dry completely before moving on. Foam rollers, which have a firm sponge-like texture, are ideal for painting cabinets because they provide the smoothest finish.
Both are designed to resist shedding while painting which will minimize and prevent roller particles from getting into your paint finish.

I will use a good quality foam roller to apply the primer to doors/cabinets (where applicable) and of course a brush where applicable. Foam rollers can be good too, but you have to be careful of getting air bubbles. Use a paintbrush only to reach into the corners of the cabinet.
